General Medical Care: Our facility has a staff of health care professionals who are knowledgeable in many aspects of medicine including internal medicine, family medicine, weight loss, sports medicine/injury and physical medicine. Our physicians are unique in that they are also knowledgeable of many aspects of natural and alternative health care. Our goal is to incorporate the very best of standard medicine with alternative and natural approaches. Every new patient is seen by a member of our medical staff who will recommend the appropriate care to meet the patients needs.

BLOOD LAB

We work with several local and national labs enabling us to make a more accurate diagnosis. We perform all the standard blood tests, as well as food allergy testing, stool analysis, parasite testing, issue mineral analysis and many other advanced forms of functional tests not routinely performed in the average medical facility. Call for a free consultation and our brochure on functional diagnostic testing if you are concerned about the thoroughness of your last tests.

RADIOLOGICAL TESTING

X-rays are sometimes necessary to assist the doctors in determining the cause of your health condition. As a convenience to our patients, we have installed an on-site x-ray unit so you won’t need to go to the hospital. X-rays are read the same day they are taken by our doctors as well as by a licensed radiologist when needed. X-rays can generally be scheduled at the time of your initial visit or the next day at your convenience. This also helps speed up the turn around time between diagnosis and treatment, allowing you quicker relief.

NERVE TESTING

Nerve studies can help pinpoint the source of your problem. We offer several in-office nerve
testing procedures including traditional EMG/NCV testing and needleless surface nerve
tests. These tests are highly sensitive and evaluate both the sensory and motor component of the nerve. This gives the doctor needed information about the condition of your nerves and allows us to give you the maximum benefit from treatment. As an added convenience, our physicians will perform and interpret the study during your visit for the test. This allows our Doctors instant access to the results to help speed your recovery.

COMPUTERIZED RANGE OF MOTION TESTING

If your condition is one that requires medical, legal or insurance documentation for reimbursement, Computerized Range of Motion Testing can assist in documenting imbalances or restrictions in mobility. Using computerized dual inclinometers to measure range of motion is the preferred method according to the American Medical Association (AMA) guidelines. This test can also serve as a baseline for treatment, help monitor progress, and help the doctor to design a specific rehabilitation program based on your individuals needs.

A NOTE ON DIAGNOSTIC TESTS:

You may have had testing done prior to your arrival at our office. This may have been done at several locations for several different doctors for several different reasons. All of these
tests may not have been evaluated by all of your doctors.

At Grundy County Pain Care Center, we feel it is vital that all of your past medical records be reviewed. This way, we will have a more complete picture of your health and will reduce the chance of duplicating unnecessary tests. By reviewing the records of several doctors, we can arrive at a solution to your health problem. We are willing to discuss our findings and recommendations with your family physician and specialist when requested.
